Après cette passionnante phase des semi finales, qui a vu les élections des six groupes représentants leurs pays respectifs, on passe maintenant à la découverte des nombreux festivals dans lesquels les gagnants feront la tournée promotionnelle de cette dixième édition du Rototom Reggae Contest Europe.
Nous commençons avec un nouveau venu pour cette édition : REGGAE RADIO STATION SUMMER FESTIVAL, rendez-vous incontournable pour tous les passionnés de reggae.
Ce festival tire son nom d’une des plus importante radio italienne : animée par Vito War, dj de radio historique, et actuellement un des Selectas les plus appréciés d’Italie. Le Reggae Radio Station Sumer festival, pour sa quatrième édition est une des événements les plus intéressants de ces dernières années. De plus, chaque édition accueille dans le Circolo Magnolia de Milan une multitude d’artistes très intéressants, nationaux et internationaux.
Cette année, pour la première fois, Vito War accueillera dans son festival, le groupe qui gagnera le Contest Européen, le 1er septembre.

 The winner of the semifinals for the German speaking area, that took
place at Universum club in Stuttgart is Sattratree. The Berlin based
band will join the other 5 announced bands for the overall finals in
Udine on June 1st.

La finale allemande aura lieu demain, 18 mai, à l’Universum Club de Stuttgart, avec l’inestimable collaboration du festival Summerjam et Conceptual Events, partenaires officiels du Reggae Contest. A partir de 21h, les trois groupes joueront devant le public allemand.

 Today we would like to introduce the media partners of this edition of
the Reggae Contest for the German speaking area. Together with our
website and our official facebook page, they are helping us spread the
news of the national and European selections.
Reggaeville, from Germany, but with many readers from all over the
world, is a web magazine in English that is a reference for the
European reggae massive. 3 web-radios give their blessing to the live
finals of Friday, two of them directly connected to the Stuttgart
reggae fan base, Jugglerz.de and KIngston Hot and the Berlin based

 Active since 2003 in the organization of open-air events, Reeds
festival is held in Pfäffikon ZH and welcomes several reggae stars
every year. This year they will host one show of the overall European
winner of the Reggae Contest. Let the Caribbean Sun Shine!
The other partner, from Möriken, from German Switzerland, is Gideon
Productions: label from 1998, it functions also as artist management,
publisher and promotion agency. They offer promotion of either a
single or an album to the winners of the German speaking area of the
Reggae Contest.

 Among the official partners of the Iberian region today we present the only festival that represents Portugal in this section. Although located right on the border, Minho Reggae Splash is one of the most important of the reggae scene in Portugal.
It is in Vila Nova de Cerveira, a handful of miles from Vigo, one of the largest city in Galicia.
The festival is celebrated in the month of July since 2010 and this year holds great surprises! Keep in touch! |

 After the Iberian contest today we present the tour won by Chalwa Band feat. King Konsul.
The official partner of the Contest in fact, in every region, offering a chance to perform in a promotional gig at their events, festivals, evenings.
Our Spanish collaborators, most of whom attended the finals last Saturday at Reggae Circus in Barcelona, have already announced the official dates of their events, so as from today we can present what will be the Iberian tour: do not miss it!

 Everything is ready and the engines are heating up! Tomorrow's the day the Spanish semi-final! At Barcelona Reggae Circus, structure designed and managed by Reggae Shack, our official partner of the Contest, tomorrow will start the final act which will provide the winner of the 2012 Rototom Iberian reggae contest!
As for the other semifinal will be a lock-streamed on the site reggaecontest.eu.
After the live band does not end the night: One Blood and Urtica Sound will make you dance until late night!
So we look forward to the Parc Del Forum,tomorrow 12th saturday from 23.00, for a whole night of dancing! |
