SHAKE DOWN BABYLON-"senza paure" 2011

Gli SHAKE DOWN BABYLON nascono a Veglie (LE) nell?aprile del 2009. Il gruppo è formato da tre componenti, di cui due ex degli RH NEGATIVO, gruppo indie rock salentino: Matteo Spano (batteria) e Fausto Cairo (sax e chitarre). Dopo lo scioglimento del gruppo e qualche mese di standby, Fausto, appassionato di cultura e musica reggae, incitato da diversi amici, scrive un brano, chiedendo la collaborazione di Matteo negli arrangiamenti.
Insieme e per gioco realizzano così il loro primo singolo ?Sui i miei passi?, brano che incuriosisce e che porta la giusta voglia per continuare a far crescere questo progetto. Ingaggiano così nel gruppo Alberto Strafella (al basso), anche lui reduce da un gruppo rock, i Logaritmo; in seguito si aggiungono Daniele Spano, chitarrista dei Gualeve (gruppo noise salentino) e Mino Tramacere alle percussioni. Durante l'estate 2010 collaborano dal vivo con VILLA ADA POSSE e PUCCIA degli APRES LA CLASSE, aprono il SALENTO SUMMER FESTIVAL 2010 con TREBLE e SIZZLA e nel 2011 suonano sullo stesso palco di JUNIOR KELLY. Nel dicembre 2010 partecipano a Wave e iniziato a lavorare al loro primo album registrato e prodotto da Fabio Magistrali (Afterhours, Perturbazione, Marta sui tubi ecc..). Realizzano il loro primo videoclip di "Kimberly" singolo estratto dall'album "Senza paure" con la regia di Gianni De Blasi.
