Biography:

From the venezuelan Caribbean dreamland, Abyssnyah grew up watching
the reality of the middle class and the ghetto, selling fruits in the
country's busiest avenues. His early youth are marked musically by
Bob Marley, Black Uhuru, Peter Tosh and Steel Pulse, this last one
with whom he shared the stage years later.

His grandfather, was a recognized Christian minister, thanks him
starts the faith in God. Over the years Abyssnyyah knows
Rastafarianism and became interested in the way they see God.

The beginning of his musical career, was the day when he was with his
friend Yeyo in a Bob Marley tribute concert. Here born the idea of
forming a band of this genre. Over time Yeyo becomes the vocalist and
percussionist Abyssnyah in Zion The Promise Land, renowned Venezuelan
reggae band, considered one of the best in Latin America. Abyssnyah
was part of Zion The Promise Land for about 15 years.
By the time was passing and dredloocks were growing up, Abyssnyah
had a feeling of missing something, till dancehall come to his ears
because of the producer named Rasta Dorta, he support us and show us
the important artists at that time such us Sizzla and Capleton. In
order that he adopted the boboshanty lifestile.

Meanwhile discovers his real concern, to write songs, lyrics and
phrasing in the vocal chords the world problematic and make public his
thinking and the dissatisfaction with the Babylonian system. This
discovery makes it separate from his band and his life begins to
indicate the pathway Costa Rica as part of this. Abyss decide to left
behind 15 years of stablish music life and decided to live his dream
to be leader of his own project. Project as a solist and legacy
representing his own stile and the dancehall in latin america. He
decided to left Venezuela, his origin land behind, a country where a
political transformation had start and communism is spreading around.
Moved also by his other passion, the surfing, and the reggae music he
starts a new life in Costa Rica, in the search of the promised land of
Zion.

such as Revealers Mistic, Steel Pulse, Skatalites, Anthony B, Lutan
