Big Up! at the Reggae Contest Festival Partners if in the next two weeks turn on the lights on the stages festival.
It will start from 27 of July with LB27 Reggae Camp and from 29 of July Sardinia Reggae Festival in the town of Banari in Sardinia.
The week after will be start  REGGAE GEEL in Belgium and ONE LOVE Festival in London. Last one will be also theatre of the end of the UK Reggae Contest.

After many months of organising, One Drop Promotions and the directors of LB27 Reggae Camp opened the first Hungarian final last night in a nice, familiar, open air club: Kobuci Kert - Budapest.

The three bands presented three different kind of music:
Ocho Macho - latin/ska/reggae
The Three Teadies - traditional ska
Zagastic - roots reggae

All the three bands did really good shows, nice mood, made the audiance dancing all night long. Following the contest, last year's regional winner Kingston Cruisers played their usual terrific show.
At the end of this hot night the jurors presented the final result:
In the European finals in Benicassim on 25th\26th August 2010 Hungary will represented by ZAGASTIC!

As extra bonus the organisers of LB27 Reggae Camp invited all finalist to the main stage of the Camp on the 27th July to present the community of ERC.

The winning band from the Spanish leg of the European Reggae Contest will begin their adventure on Friday 9th July. GregTown will be up on stage at Nowa Reggae 2010 in Villanova I la Geltru in Cataluña, alongside artists such as Luciano, Turbulence and Zion Train! A massive good luck to GregTown who will be undertaking the promotional tour sponsored by Reggae Contest, which will be touching down in numerous cities across Spain!

The European Reggae Contest 2010 continues without a break with the Hungarian Final of the Reggae Contest on 8th July at Club KOBUCI KERT Budapest (H) Beginning the long tour of the national winners with the date in Udine with Arawak at Rototom Free and Home Bwoy Rasta at the Real Beat Reggae Ethnic Festival in Prague. (See all tour dates at this link) It's now time for the band that will represent Hungary at the European final of Benicassim to be chosen. The bands on on stage at Kobuci Kert in Budapest on Thursday 8th July will be OCHO MACHO, ZAGASTIC and THE THREE TEADIES.  The jury will select the band that will be heading to Spain. All of them have already won a nice bonus and will participate in the LB27 Reggae Camp Festival on the evening of 27th July - a night dedicated to European Reggae Contest with Hungarian 2009 winners Kingston Cruisers and Jr Brown all on stage.
